Description:
An arrangement of Flemish Impressionist composer Lodewijk Mortelmans' most famous work, 'Het Wielewaalt en Leeuwerkt.' Though the title literally translates as 'The Oriole and the Lark,' the more common English translation originally provided by the composer and publisher is 'Like a Singing Bird.' Originally premiered at the 2016 NFA convention in San Diego, this arrangement is reminiscent of the Arabesques of Debussy and is a great representation of the Impressionistic period.
