Bring vibrant tonal variety and fresh inspiration to your worship services! With the second volume of the series »Begleitsätze und Choralvorspiele zum EG« from the renowned Strube Verlag, organists gain a valuable, highly practical collection for stylish hymn accompaniment. This edition covers 12 beloved melodies associated with a total of 23 hymns from the German Protestant Hymnal (EG). The artfully crafted arrangements place the cantus firmus flexibly across different voices and registers—whether in the soprano, inner voices, or bass—opening up versatile expressive possibilities. Thanks to the thoughtful layout, all pieces can be played either with or without pedals and are also wonderfully suited for performance on the piano. An indispensable resource for church musicians that will delight both performers and congregations alike.
