Strings (Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola or Violin 3, Cello/Double Bass)
Piano [continuo]
The continuo part is not essential providing the string parts are complete and well-balanced, but it should be retained, if possible, in accordance with 17th century practice. The continuo plays from the score, two copies of which are included in a standard pack of parts. A 3rd violin part is provided as an alternative to viola. The arrangements are satis factory for a minimum combination of recorders, 2 violins and piano.
Duration: 4 minutes
A PACK comprises one full score, string parts 4/4/3/4/2 and any wind, brass and percussion parts.
