The piece starts with a fanfare and takes us to the circumnavigations of oceans, motivated by dreams to explore new worlds and new civilizations. After arriving at newly discovered land, one carefully seeks out new life. Shortly afterwards, one discovers various things of interest and makes new trade relations. After every discovery the explorers travel journey back to the motherland.
