ODE TO JOY from Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 is arranged for mass band by composer Robert Longfield. Three levels of students, beginning (grade 1), intermediate (grade 2), and advanced players (grade 3) can perform this simultaneously. Though it can be performed as a 'stand alone' grade 3 work, it is the perfect vehicle for combining a district's varying levels of students for an end-of-the-year performance. The performance on this CD features the 'stand alone' grade 3 version.
