Siegfried Steinkogler composed his guitar album with the aim of familiarizing guitar players with the music of our time by means of easy concert pieces. Many of these miniatures can be used as contemporary pieces at music competitions for young players. Designed as a companion book for the entire lower and medium level of the elementary stage, this collection can be used from the first year of tuition. The technical requirements for the pieces in the first section are: knowledge of the C Major scale and tirando (free stroke) plucking. The pieces gradually increase in difficulty through the book. To meet the demands of modern music lessons, Steinkogler attaches great importance to the use of modern sounds and providing pieces in a wide range of styles.
