One Golden Dawn On Jordan's Bright Sand

Uses: Epiphany, Baptism, General Scripture: Luke 3:16, Matthew 3:13-17, Mark 1:9-11, John 1:29-33 The occasion of Jesus' baptism is an important commemoration in the lectionary and mirrors this moment in the life of believers. This anthem, in minor mode, has the spirit of a seafarer's folk song as it rolls and lilts, carrying with it this miracle moment from Scripture. The piano and flute dialogue together and provide a colorful option. Flute and tambourine part included.
