Inspiration for Emma's choral compositions comes from a variety of sources, including the music of the Orthodox traditions, Gregorian chant and Counter-Reformation polyphony. This short four-part motet, O Lux Beata Trinitas, plays upon the idea of the Trinity by assigning each voice only three notes.
