Leonard Bernstein

Make Our Garden Grow

With "Make Our Garden Grow", Leonard Bernstein created one of the most moving and sonorous choral finales in music history. This stirring closing piece from the celebrated operetta "Candide" begins tenderly and intimately before building into a triumphant, hopeful anthem of immense emotional depth and brilliance. Published by the renowned Boosey & Hawkes, this choral score is arranged for mixed choir (SATB) and piano. A special highlight: towards the climax, the choral texture masterfully expands into an eight-part division, unleashing a breathtaking, full-bodied resonance. An unforgettable showpiece for ambitious choir concerts and festive occasions – guaranteed to deliver pure goosebump moments for both ensemble and audience!
