Description:

Experience one of the most touching and intimate masterpieces of Baroque choral music with Johann Sebastian Bach's double-choir motet "Komm, Jesu, komm" (BWV 229). Scored for two four-part mixed choirs (SATB + SATB), this work unfolds an incomparable expressive power and profound emotional depth that captivates singers and audiences alike. In accordance with historical performance practice, the instrumentation can optionally be reinforced ad libitum with woodwinds (oboes, bassoon), strings, and basso continuo.

This Urtext edition by the renowned Bärenreiter Verlag is based on the authoritative New Bach Edition, ensuring the highest level of musicological accuracy and an exceptionally clear, readable layout. Available as a convenient digital download, this choral score is immediately ready for use—ideal for discerning ensembles, chamber choirs, and conductors wishing to explore Bach's timeless vocal artistry without delay.
