Margaret Tucker has served long and well in the church community, one of the first Commissioned Ministers of Music in the United Church of Christ. She is also a published composer of hymns, and co-editor of Hymns of Truth & Light. Her Invitation, adapting text by British poet Israel Zangwill, serves well as both a wedding celebration or hymn of welcome. Layered and staggered voices build into the verse, the voices calm and welcoming. Some divisi in the upper voices, but not challenging.
