Description:
Orlando Lassus, also known as Orlando Di Lasso, (c. 1530 - 1594) was a Flemish Renaissance composer whose work is considered second only to that of Palestrina and Victoria. He was a master of both Sacred andSecular compositions, creating over 2000 musical works. Many of these, including his setting of the Stabat Mater, have been researched and edited by Clive Wearing.
