We are the Children of the World is an original song for unison or 2-part upper voices and piano, with words and music by Lin Marsh. This uplifting, multilingual composition was commissioned by the University of Oxford to help celebrate the many languages spoken in the UK's schools and communities. The piece features folk songs in seven different languages: Arabic, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Swahili and Urdu, as well as English.
