Description:
This collection of songs is the result of the Erasmus+ project Voices of Women: an association of various European colleges and universities that have dealt with songs by female composers in theory, practice and interpretation. The selection of these art songs allows all singers access to the poems set to music, as they are suitable for both teaching and professional artistic purposes. The compositions cover a period of about 100 years, from the middle of the 19th to the middle of the 20th century, and each convinces in their own unique way through the close interweaving of music and poetry.
