Description:

With "Die Entführung aus dem Serail" (The Abduction from the Seraglio) KV 384, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart created a captivating masterpiece brimming with passion, wit, and vibrant theatrical flair. This beloved German singspiel in three acts continues to enchant audiences with its virtuosic arias, nuanced ensembles, and gripping dramatic scenes surrounding the daring rescue of Konstanze from the palace of Pasha Selim. This premium vocal score from the renowned Edition Peters provides the ideal foundation for singers, répétiteurs, and ensembles. It includes the solo parts (two sopranos, two tenors, bass), spoken roles, and a practical, beautifully arranged piano reduction that faithfully renders the orchestral score. An indispensable edition for rehearsals, coaching, and performances of this timeless operatic classic.
