Description:
Dedicated to the passing of Bob Florence, Bill Finnegan, and Frank Mantooth. A moderate jazz waltz based on some more 'outside' non functional harmonies. Melody is introduced by harmon tpt and flute (double on tenor 2 part) based by a fully harmonized version with flugel lead. Solo space for tpt and flute. Very restrained ensemble chorus (flugels and bucket mute bones) still using outside non functional harmony. The challenge here is to play with good intonation and solo over offbeat changes.
