A Latin/rock original by Mike Carubia, Arubian Island has a driving beat and a haunting melody. For the younger player, this chart will introduce simple Latin rhythms with straight eighth notes, give a full and powerful sound, and will require only modest brass ranges. Solos for trumpet, tenor sax, alto sax, guitar, trombone, and drums with written solos provided, and the comfortable groove will have all the feet tapping.
