This collection of Three Asiatic Dances is written for six players. Instrumentation: 2 triangles, 2 suspended cymbals, orchestra bells, chimes, five automobile brake drums (cow bells, steel drums, iron pipes, or coffee tins may be used as substitutes), three high tom-toms (roto-toms suggested), 2 low tom-toms, wood block, tambourine, four temple blocks, bass drum, tam-tam, and vibraphone (celesta or piano may be used as substitue. Dance titles: I. Temple Dance, II. Po Chung and Te Chung, III. Sacrifice.
