Written during Holst's time working at the St. Paul's Girls School, this influential piece originally written for string orchestra has been beautifully transcribed for saxophone choir. Matt Johnston keeps much of the same colors and effects from the original, taking advantage of the homogeneity of the saxophone choir, from top to bottom. Consists of four movements: Jig, Ostinato, Intermezzo, Finale (The Dargason) Instrumentation: Soprano, 3 Altos, 2 Tenors, Baritone and Bass (or Baritone 2)
