This three-movement serenade for flute nonette includes all of the standard instruments of the flute family, with each treated as a unique member with its own timbres rather than as one long extension of the C flute. The colors enabled the composer to treat each type of flute as its own section in an 'orchestra' of flute sounds. Movements: I. Waltz, II. Adagio, III. Allegro con brio.
