Description:
Generally regarded as 'The Graduation March,'Pomp and Circumstance was written by Edward Elgar in 1901 and first used in a graduation ceremony at Yale in June of 1905. Because every graduation ceremony is different, the infamous repeated section has multiple escape points and the piece can come to a close whenever is necessary. This arrangement is well suited for a flute quartet, but would also work equally as well in a flute choir setting. Instrumentation: Piccolo, C Flute, Alto Flute (Alternate part for C Flute provided), Bass Flute
