Description:
The idea to compose this Fantasy for 6 Flutes was born with the composer talking to Sheridon Stokes about composing some music for him featuring the flute as the most prominent instrument. Thus came up the idea of writing a piece for 6 flutes with very independent parts, such that none of the instruments play only a supporting role to the others and also allowing the use of up to 6-part harmony. The composition is cheerful and dancing yet also moody and sometimes mysterious.
