This short set of sketches was composed in 2011 based on exotic places in which the composer has lived: Paris (La Seine), Rome (Le Fontane di Roma) and Tunisia (Oasis). The movements are designed to flow into each other, and this piece would make an interesting addition to a student or professional recital. The river god is a fluvial geomorphologist whose nickname is Fluvio.
