Description:
The Encounter was written for a short film produced in 1995 in Vancouver but, due to time constraints, was never included in the finished film. This work is the third in a set of three movements (the first being The Search and the second is unwritten as of yet). Scored for a clarinet choir consisting of 1 e-flat clarinet, 4 b-flat clarinets and 1 bass clarinet, this piece is approachable by high school players.
