The winner of the Kinderchorland prize is known for her handmade songs and fantastic stories that combine cheerfulness/melancholy and daydreams. Her songs are entertaining/catchy tunes that are enjoyed by young and old alike. This edition of Seasonal Sounds begins with 'Frühlingszauber'/a lively piece that sings of nature's awakening in spring. The second spring song/"Es wackelt und es zappelt"/sings of the vibrancy of spring as early flowers such as crocus and narcissus emerge from their bulbs into the light. "Ostseekind" takes you to the summer by the sea and "Flaschenpost" tells of adventurous and mysterious messages you can experience on a summer holiday by the sea. In autumn/"Mist Ghosts" will give you a sense of the mystical atmosphere of autumn/and "Squirrels" will show you how the animals are busy preparing for winter. Winter is rounded off with "It's Snowing"/a gentle song about the magic of the first snowfall.
