Fleet Foxes

Fleet Foxes

The matching folio to the debut album by seattle band Fleet Foxes, easily the most critically acclaimed band of 2008. The album featured in several 'best-of-year' polls such as Uncut, Pitchfork, Mojo, Q, Drowned In Sound and Rolling Stone. This esteem is translating into commercial success, as despite being signed to indie label Bella Union, the band have achieved Gold sales in the UK and become a popular live act across the European festivals. The band's sound is a unique blend of vocal harmonies and timeless songwriting craft, echoing The Beach Boys, and is described by the band as 'Baroque Harmonic Pop', and translates beautifully in this folio for Piano, Voice and Guitar. The book includes all the songs from the album, as well as their E. P. Sun Giant, and includes the full lyrics.
