'Easy Play-Alongs for Saxophone' is an off-shoot of the 'Magic Saxophone' series. Edited and arranged by Barbara Strack-Hanisch, an internationally performer and professor of saxophone at Vienna’s University of Music, this volume offers a great mixed selection of pieces suitable for beginners and intermediate players.
This edition includes printed piano parts as well as recorded accompaniments on a CD that, for some pieces, features a live band. Highlights of the album include Elgar’s 'Pomp and Circumstance No.1', Beethoven’s evergreen 'Für Elise' and the instantly recognizable 'Flintstones' theme tune. Suitable for UK grades 2-4.
