Written by Gabriel Pierné, Op. 3, No. 12 Cache-Cache is the twelfth of a set of fifteen pieces for Piano. It was composed in 1883 and is ideal for intermediate players. This lovely piece holds the name of the children's game 'Hide & Seek'.
Within the piece and after the introduction, right and left hands alternate the use of semiquavers going up and down continuously, the other hand playing mainly chords
Inthe series, this work is preceeded by two other pieces named after children's games and comes before a waltz in A.
