Born in 1982, Jean-Charles Gandrille had composed his first work by age 10. As a prolific organist, Gandrille composed significantly for his instrument, Reflets being no exception.
Reflets won Gandrille first prize at the Composition Competition of the Comminges Festival in 2006. With a typical performance lasting around 15minutes, Reflets is a highly modern work.
