Strings (Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola or Violin 3, Cello, Bass)

This arrangement can be played in various ways,and most passages for woodwind and brass have been cued in the string parts. The Suite can be played by strings and any available wind, but if performed by strings only bars 1-8 of the Minuet should be repeated and bars 9-16 omitted, and some repet itions in the Bourree and Hornpipe may be cut if desired. The wind cues are incorporated in the piano part which may be used either in lieu of woodwind and brass or when insufficient string players are available to produce complete harmony.
The four movements in this suite are Bourree, Minuet, Air, Hornpipe.
Duration: 7 1/2 minutes
A PACK comprises one full score, string parts 4/4/3/4/2 and any wind, brass and percussion parts.
