Description:
arranged for 4 violoncelli by Harald Feller. In order to better discern the hidden harmonies on the original one-part models, the "didactic" harmonic variant of the Largo from the Second Solo-Suite for four cellos was arranged. The result was the small concert piece presented here, which, entirely in Reger's style, is held in an atmospherically dense, polyphonic, late-romantic sonority.
