Description:
The Wahnmonolog Wahn! Wahn! Uberall Wahn! is sung by Hans Sachs in the first scene of the third and last act of Richard Wagner's Opera Die Meistersinger. On a sunny morning Sachs is sitting in his workshop while his apprentice David suddenly remembers that it is the saint's day of his master: Johannistag. Sachs is in a good mood and meditates about men' s foolishness and how he can use that to reach his goals. (Bass-Baritone and Concert Band)
