Taking an ancient melody also known as 'O Come, O Come Emmanuel', arranger Neufeld has here created an extremely original take on a much-arranged Christmas melody. Surprising touches in this arrangement include mixed-meter, augmentation of the melody, rich, low register voicing of trumpets, and melodic usage of bass instruments.
