Neben der üblichen Blasorchesterbesetzung sind zusätzlich Battle Fifes (Spielmannszug Pfeifen) Violine und ein Solo-Sopran besetzt. Es gibt aber Alternativstimmen, sodaß das Werk auch ohne diese Besetzung aufgeführt werden kann.
