Starchaser

Students and audiences will be in awe when they hear this musical portrait of travel through outer space and around the galaxy. The opening Moderato section starts the journey with careful attention paid to dynamic variations and rhythmic consistency in the percussion section. This is followed by a contrasting Andante section, played in a legato style, where students can show off their expressive playing skills. The piece returns to the Moderato section before coming to a dramatic conclusion.
