La Traviata tells the story of the young and beautiful courtesan Violetta who falls in love with Alfredo, an ordinary and poor young man.She leaves her luxurious live for him and finally offers her love for the sake of the future of Alfredo's family. The duet Pura siccome in angelo is placed in the second act of the opera: Violeta is visited by Giorgio Germont, Alfredo's father. Although he is convinced that she loves his son, Germont says he must extract a sacrifice from her: he demands that she gives up his son for ever. (Soprano, Baritone and Concert Band)
