For the Olympic Flag - Commissioned by the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games Cultural Olympiad in honor of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games Written to be played by the Olympic Band whenever the Olympic flag appears, thiswork features brilliant brass fanfares interspersed with exciting flourishes in woodwinds and percussion. The main theme has a dramatic flow that is occasionally punctuated with motifs from the opening fanfare. A contrastingmiddle section features the low brass.
