Description:
In 2012, Stevenson was commissioned by the wind music association from Kärnten to compose a symphonic work based on the work of Austrian composer Rudolf Kummerer, to mark the 90th anniversary of the Stadskapel Feldkirchen. Stevenson took a theme from Kummerer and divided it into fragments and then mixed it with fragments of his own. At the centre is the famous march Treu dem Kärntnerland, which runs through the entire work.
