Description:
This is the fourth movement of the five-part suite 'Nomenclatura' commissioned by the Dutch Customs Band 'Douane Harmonie Nederland'. This movement is a quiet ballad, that could be considered as a quiet moment in the suite, introduced by the woodwinds (especially the English horn) and melodic percussion whereafter the trumpet, the horn and the saxophone sections join, before the lower brass and percussion completes the group. A fine tune and a well-balanced orchestration are the biggest assets of this nice ballad.
