In a group of compositions from the enormous stock of surviving Vivaldi manuscript sources, ''The Red Priest'' assigns unequivocably leading roles to the archlute, to the theorbo and to the mandolin: two trios for violin, ''leuto'' and basso continuo, a concerto in D major for two violins, ''leuto'' and basso continuo, another in D minor for viola d'amore and ''leuto'', a concerto for eleven instruments and string orchestra, in which the two theorbos and two mandolins have a concertante part; a concerto for mandolin, and finally, a double concerto for two mandolins. Complete score and performing parts available in pdf format on CD. Fondazione Arcadia furthers research on XVIII century Italian music with critical editions of published and unpublished repertorie. The CD ROM contains all printable parts in pdf format.
