Im Angesicht des Zweiflers (In the Face of the Doubter) by Sidney Corbett is an 11-minute work for clarinet in A, cello and piano. The work was inspired by Bertolt Brecht's poem, "The Doubter" - in particular the question of the sincerity of one's own actions. Im Angesicht des Zweiflers was premiered in 2006 at the Akademie der Künste Berlin by the Modern Art Ensemble. This edition (EP14390) is the score and parts of this work, available for purchase for the first time, as part of the Peters Contemporary Chamber Series.
