In 1935, Christopher Le Fleming published 2 books of Peter Rabbit Piano Music, after writing several pieces for a young student he was teaching. Book 2 contained 6 Piano duets, aimed at children ages10-12. These duets were later revised and re-scored for Wind Ensemble by the composer, and published as Homage To Beatrix Potter.
Christopher Le Fleming (1908-1985) was an English composer, pianist, andteacher. He was born with a visual impairment that prevented him from taking a place at the Royal Academy of Music, instead studying at the Brighton School of Music and the Royal School of Church Music.
