Geoffrey Burgon (1941-2010) was a British composer best known for his film and television scores, such as Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Brideshead Revisited, andMonty Python's Life of Brian. He studied Trumpet and Composition at the Guildhall, and spent the early part of his career as a successful Jazz musician.
