The Turn Of The Year from Drum Songs composed by Lin Marsh arranged for upper voices and piano. This is a work song with a driving 9/8 rhythm - give the first beat of the bar a strong accent. Bars 43-51 have a change in rhythm and lyric, so try a different percussive colour, or vary the pitch. At bar 68, experiment with some of the cross-rhythms, returning to the first idea at bar 76.
