Egad! Somehow, the Et Exspecto solo from P.D.Q. Bach's suspect opera Hansel and Gretel and Ted and Alice - thankfully restricted to supervised rental status - has leaked out to the public sphere! The Monk's Aria appears to be an attempt at Gregorian chant, but filled with linguistic lapses throughout the Latin text. It seems that there is much here that an editor of Professor Schickele's stature should have caught. Regardless, here it is. For intermediate to advanced performers.
