Description:
This piece was originally commissioned by MISK (Music in Sandefjord Cathedral) to be performed with the Royal Norwegian Navy Band in June 2009.
Originally written for big band, choir, organ and jazz quartet. In it's entire form it is a 90 minutes piece in 9 parts.
The original performance was recorded and released on the album 'Timeless Tales' in 2010.
This version was re-arranged for Sandefjord Brass Symposium and performed at the Oslo Brass Festival in 2017 with the composer as electric guitar soloist.
The suite can be performed with either Lead jazz Trumpet soloist or Electric Jazz Guitar soloist or both.
Acoustic bass and piano parts are optional.
