Commissioned for the Esperanza High School Jazz Band, 'Welcome to Zingtown' is a roaring big band arrangement that is both challenging and crowd-pleasing. The melody, set to the changes of 'How High the Moon,' is played by the sax section (a-la 'Four Brothers.') There is solo space for a trumpet and a tenor sax. The chorus long a cappella section is followed by a huge shout chorus. This arrangement screams and is sure to be one of you favorites. Lead trumpet plays a written E above high C.5/4/4/P/B/D. Medium - Difficult.
