Flashback is a medium swing bebop tune that features the saxes on a AABA form with the trumpets taking over the B section. The arrangement has 2 sections of improvisation (all parts have the chord changes) for saxes and brass with respective backgrouns. It is a good chart for teaching basic ii-V-I improv and bebop rhythmic vocabulary. 5-4-4-4 (Lead trpt. Bb5) 1/4 note=160. Medium difficult.
