It is desighned to move along at a fast, exciting pace while providing ample solo space for the solo trumpet and tenor saxophone. Ensemble sections feature a unison trombone melody and a lively saxophone soli followed by a boisterous shout chorus. It works well as an opener. Highest note for lead trumpet is written high F#. Key: g minor.
