This was the first of many 'time charts' that Hank wrote for the Kenton Band. This is as exactly recorded on the 'Live at Redlands University' CD. The piece in written mostly in 5/4 and features solo space for alto sax and trumpet. This is a remarkable composition which should be in every big band library, not only because it is an historically important work, but also because it's simply a lot of fun to play. 5.5.5.3
